Over the long, 250-year history of the Order there were always courageous people who were committed to
the continued existence of the Order and to the original objectives of the Order's founder. The modern
history of the Order is also remarkably interesting with its many beautiful achievements and successes.The
very vibrant Order of St. Stanislas, founded 250 years ago by the Polish King, still appeals to people around
the world, arising their interest and encouraging them to do what they consider to be brave and noble and
by which means they can achieve what would have been otherwise impossible to achieve.
The Order is present on several continents in the world, in Europe, America, Asia, Australia with New Zealand. In Europe
it is present in Austria, Germany, Great Britain, Spain, Hungary, Belgium, Italia, Czechoslovakia, Switzerland, France,
Ukraine; the most members are in Poland, the country where it has its roots, where it was founded and were its Grand
Masters of the modern era were coming from. On the following pages some pictures of Dames and Knights originating
