THE CO-ECONOMY

From co-working-slash-living to mobility and SaaS, today’s
economy is characterized less by ownership than by access.
But how does the sharing economy affect interior-design
thinking? How do designers deal with short-lived products
and services? And how do we lend shape to the social
structures that come with communal setups?

NorthernLight’s Let’s Get Physical is an intelligent,
multisensory space that explores how digital technology can
stimulate human interaction and attraction in shared areas.
Technology presents challenges for our social relationships,
but it can also be harnessed to make them stronger than ever.
The Amsterdam agency sees a future in which spaces are alive

  • both reactive and empathetic to people and their needs.

Andreu World’s Eat Well Seated is a global restaurant guide that marries the idea of gastronomy and good
design. The various locations mentioned in the book have something in common: in each, diners have their
meals in chairs designed by Andreu World. To articulate the concept behind Eat Well Seated, the company
showcased Patricia Urquiola’s Nuez chairs and Reverse Conference table at Frame Lab.
