(singke) #1
For this question, write your answer in the box.

How many cubic feet of water are needed to fill a cylinder with a radius of 10
feet and a height of 6 feet?

SOLUTION: Use the volume formula: volume = πr^2 h = π10^2 (6) = 600π

The formula for the surface area of a cylinder is:
SAcylinder = 2πrh + 2πr^2
This formula, however, is rarely tested.
