Notice that a minus sign (–) appears in the Sampling Brush pointer. This is because the tool is set
to Subtract mode, which is indicated in the options bar.
9. Paint over foliage to exclude it from the sampling area. Areas you exclude are no longer
green. As you do this, the fill is recalculated, and you can see the updated results in the
Preview panel.
10. As soon as the fill looks like it consists only of water, you can stop painting.
It may take some trial and error for the results to be successful. You may be able to improve the
results using the following technique:
Use the Sampling Brush in Subtract mode to exclude more areas, to stop them from
contributing incorrect content to the fill. For example, it might help to also exclude the
lantern and all the areas that are not water.
