- Select the Selection tool ( ) in the Tools panel, and look in the Properties panel on the right.
At the top of the Properties panel, you will see “No Selection.” This is called the Selection
Indicator and is a great place to look and see what type of content is selected (if any). With
nothing selected in the document, the Properties panel shows the current document properties
as well as program preferences.
Note
A message may appear after selecting the shape. You can click Okay to dismiss it.
- Move the pointer into the dark blue background shape in the artwork, and click to select it.
