You may notice in the selected artwork that you only see the corner points of the

bounding box. It depends on the zoom level of your document.

You can also open the Stroke panel by choosing Window > Stroke, but you may need

to choose Show Options from the panel menu ( ).

   Click the brown rectangle and then click the Arrange button in the Properties panel and choose
   Bring To Front so the rectangle is on top of the ellipses.

   Choose Select > Deselect.
