With Smart Guides turned off, there is no measurement label, and the point is only aligning
with the previous point because you are holding down the Shift key.Note
The points you set don’t have to be in the same position as the path at the top of the
artboard.- Click to set point 4 and then click to set point 5.
As you’ve already seen, without pressing the Shift key, you can set an anchor point anywhere.
The path is not constrained to angles of 45 ̊.
