Tip
Choose Merge Selected from the Layers panel menu to and color of the merged layer.
Layers can only merge with other layers that are on the same hierarchical level in the
Layers panel. Likewise, sublayers can only merge with other the same layer and on the
same hierarchical content in it. level. Objects can’t be merged with other objects.
- Click the Layers panel menu icon ( ), and choose Collect In New Layer to create a new
sublayers that are in sublayer (in this case) and put the selected content in it.
The objects in the new sublayer retain their original stacking order.
- Double-click the new sublayer name (mine is Layer 6), and change the name to Front. Press
Return or Enter.
