let’s define it and explain why it’s so important.

Self-a achment is the feeling of ownership, desire, or
belongingness to one’s self. It is taking pride in who you are. High
levels of self-a achment means that you want to be just the
person you are. Self-a achment gives you the drive to be
responsive to your own ends for self-maintenance and growth. A
person with a high level of self-a achment tries to be aware of
what is best for themselves. High self-a achment means that you
try to act in ways that make your life enjoyable and sa sfying.
