Develop Lasting Partnerships
Why?
While all parents could benefit from this
program, by strategically targeting certain
organizations, Prepped & Ready can benefit in a
number of ways.Reach: Partnering with organizations that have a
robust community, established communication
channels, and/or a larger audiences increases the
reach of the programEfficiency: By maintaining these relationships, it
creates the opportunity for repeatable visits while
minimizing the time required for setup.Diversification: By developing trust with established
organizations with specific populations, it decreases
the barriers to effective communicationAdditionally, by focusing on very specific
organizations, there are opportunities to focus the
Prepped & Ready messaging. For example, one
strategic partnership could be a pre-existing gun
safety program for new gun owners that Prepped &Ready could develop supplemental
material for. This would target a high
risk category of people (gun own-
ers) and offload
the work in communicating the
message. Another example:
targeting a coalition of school
nurses or counselors would be
effective by educating working
professionals who would be able
to incorporate this information
into their everyday work.Expand reach by developing lasting partnerships with established
community organizations that will conduct repeatable events
using a pre-developed set of promotional materials.
