We recommend developing a set of
criteria that would be representative of an ideal
partner organization. Some suggested criteria:
- Has a strong local and national presence
(example: Boys and Girls club) - Has a trustworthy reputation with a
desired target community (example: Center
of Grace Olathe is very trusted within the
immigrant hispanic community) - Offers pre-existing, repeatable program-
ming that Prepped & Ready could capitalize
on (example: conferences, schools) - Has strong connections with high risk youth
(example: Boys and Girls club) - Educating “influencers” (example: Middle
school social workers, counselors, nurses) - Has regular community gatherings or
programming (example: churches)
