folder or .zip file that gives host sites the
material they need to successfully promote
their event. The promotional kit can be
added to or modified as necessary, but we
recommend some baseline materials:- Link to a 30-60 second video

program and gives potential
participants a general idea of what
they can expect

- Premade, templated content

- An initial announcement email
- A sign-up reminder email one to two
weeks in advance of event - Event reminder emails to be sent out
one week prior and one day prior

participants for attending and
links to online resources,
including the Prepped & Ready
website
- Digital 8.5x11 flyer suitable for printing or
electronic distribution - A 1-2 paragraph newsletter blurb

By including assets for multiple communication channels, it helps ensure promotion of the
program is aligned, no matter which host site is promoting it. All without additional time or energy
by the Prepped & Ready team. This toolkit also will help lower the barrier of entry for potentially
interested host sites by minimizing the work required on their end.
