Implement the Prepped & Ready program into
an asynchronous online platforminteractions with partners, host sites and target
audiences.
How?
Here are a few ways you can use your CRM
platform to improve scale through a few automated
mass communications efforts:
- Segment your contacts and send targeted
messages to only specific groups: - Future host sites
- Previous and current host sites
- Prior attendees
- Interested potential future attendees
- Create editable templates and save for ease of
sending and updating - Set up a workflow to deliver timed or triggered email
messages tailored to audience segments prompting
them to sign up for future presentations, fill out a
survey, or some other desired action
By segmenting your contact list and delivering tailored
information to each group, you can effectively and
efficiently develop those different relationships.
Whether that might be targeting groups for future
signups, forming a lasting impression as an expert on the
subject, or offering parents ongoing tips and
reminders, this CRM can be used very effectively as an
outreach and marketing tool, not just for research
data collection.
Why?
Our key findings showed us that the in-person
Prepped & Ready program, despite its recognized
value, has a number of barriers that make access
difficult. It requires caregivers to give up several hours
of their time (typically in the evening), travel to a
location that may be unfamiliar to them, and then be
an engaged participant over the course of two hours,
while listening to a presenter speak on weighty
issues like eating disorders and suicide prevention. It’s
a lot to ask of participants, resource intensive for CMH
staff, and has inherent limitations in terms of scale.
Moving to online, asynchronous delivery allows CMH
staff to front load the work, and then focus their energy
elsewhere as the program own that online health
education programs can be effective at
influencing behavior.^1After analyzing a number of different options, we
believe the first and best option to explore is a
partnership with existing online health and wellness
