Why?
Developing an advisory board is a great way to
leverage the existing network of partnerships that the
Prepped & Ready staff have already developed. By
bringing in leaders and advisors who are part of
different populations, this advisory board can provide
culturally sensitive insights on a regular basis that can
help shape the Prepped & Ready program as it moves
forward. We would also recommend considering
bringing in board members who may offer subject
matter expertise in the areas of health outreach or
communications.
How?
Invite connected and trusted leaders within target
audiences to form a board which will act as a sounding
board and resource for insights that can only be
obtained from someone who assists and
interacts with members of these communities
on a daily basis.
