o Healthquest is one of the few employer
sponsored health and wellness programs that
integrates directly with their EAP (which is run by
Compsych).
o 53,000 total potential participants consisting of- State employees
~ 36,000 - Spouses
- Non-state employees but may be part of
another tax funded org
o They performed a 3 year cohort study utilizing
participants that were active in the system a minimum
of three years. 2017-2019
- Cohort was 17k people
- Almost half (~8k) classified as having one or
more of six categorized chronic conditions (like
diabetes, asthma, COPD, high blood pressure,
depression, etc...) - A large percentage of that group classified as
having 2 or more of the categorized
co-morbidities - Of the group with 2 or more comorbidities 59%
showed improvement over the three-year
period, 8% declined and the rest maintained
their same status. - Paul was very open to exploring utilizing
Healthquest as venue for the Prepped and
Ready program
o Recommended starting with a webinar style
format that people could register for. Estimated that
for a 90 minute webinar it would count as 3 credits and
would likely have ~300 attendees. This would be a
relatively easy “build” for them.
o An asynchronous learning module could
potentially be developed as well but requires more time
and effort to get off the ground. These can also incor-
porate short “quizzes” along with the various pieces of
multimedia content to help keep users engaged and
help measure retention of information.- Victoria Andrew [email protected]

Prepped and Ready
o The idea of a lengthy in-person educational
presentation will likely not work because many of their
patients are in crisis or have other concerns that take
precedent
