Angi Gerstner Tim Seley Janene Krueger

Tim is the Associate Director of

Digital Media in KU’s Marketing

Communications office, where

he enjoys telling the story of KU

through photography and video

with his team. Although an

employee and student at the

University of Kansas, he has a

bachelor’s degree in Radio and

TV from Kansas State University.

His wife works for Children’s

Mercy and loves their mission.

When not taking photos or

creating videos, he might be

found playing boutique board

games with his family,

rehabbing a house, writing

music, or reading a good

book.

Janene is the Director of

Franchise Development for

Jefferson’s Franchise Systems.

She graduated from KU in 2011

with a bachelor’s degree in

Journalism. She has also worked

in media sales, marketed for

non-profit organizations, and

maintained her own marketing

and communications consulting

business. Janene holds her

mentors in high esteem for

helping her get where she is

today. When not working or

studying, Janene can be found

doing something active indoors

or out with her two daughters,

her significant other and their

black labrador retriever.

Angi completed her
undergraduate degree in
Communication Studies with
a minor in Journalism at KU in
2019 and an associate’s degree in
Graphic Design at Johnson Coun-
ty Community College in 2018.
Prior to that, she simultaneously
owned and operatied a small
business while being a
stay-at-home mom to her four
children. In 2020, she taught
herself web page design, which
she refers to as her “covid skill.”
She enjoys traveling (especially
to Carribean beaches), going to
concerts, being creative, hosting
BBQs and spending time at the
lake with her partner and family.^7
