Pastor Sylvia Romero
Executive Director
Center of Grace

Summary:
We were connected with Sylvia through the Health
Partnership Clinic. When we asked the HPC if we were to
speak with one person who was doing work in the area
who we should contact, they said that for the
Hispanic community in particular, she was the one to
reach out to. We don’t see an obvious opportunity for
hosting a P&R event at Center of Grace in its current
form, but she was great to talk to and very helpful in
understanding the challenges facing the immigrant and
Hispanic communities in Olathe and Johnson County.

Summary:
Was very helpful and passionate about gun safety. He
connected us with the HPC and one other local health
organization that we were unable to sync up with. He has
additional contacts within the firearm industry and has
offered to partner with P&R to offer discounted,
drop-shipped biometric gun safes for P&R participants.

We recommend connecting with Fred to explore this
possible partnership as well as possible future partnership
opportunities.

Summary:
We emailed with Robert and he was very interested in
working with the P&R program. Cottonwood is able to
assemble, provide short-term storage and distribution of
safety kits either through bulk shipments to host site
locations or to individual addresses.

We recommend following up with Robert to explore
how to optimally outsource this aspect of the
P&R program.

Matthew
LockMed

Summary:
We emailed with Matthew about pricing options for
different safe storage options and he provided us with a
pricing list with bulk discounts for 50+ units (mixed units
are ok). The current safety kit you are using is a LockMed
product and depending on cost and fulfillment needs it
may (or may not) be worth using an alternative safe
storage product.

If you don’t already have a contact at LockMed we
recommend you follow up with Matthew as a source for
these safety kits.
