Four days to a lifetime. Each traveler must set his or her own pace. If you have
time to enjoy the sites, the history, the nightlife, the restaurants, the people and
all the other great parts of Cartagena, plan at least a week. It's possible to blaze
through in four days, but Cartagena is a place where you want to stop and smell

LOCAL TRANSPORTATION
Within the Old City, walking should be your main form of transportation. If you
must take a cab, however, the fare should be under 5,000 COP. A taxi ride from
the Old City to Bocagrande is 5,000 COP. Muelle Turistico La Bodeguita is where
boats depart for the islands.
