CARTAGENA

191

Cafe del Mar, Centro Avenida Santander, up on the back wall by the ocean, (035-
664-6513, 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM). Bring plenty of cash, because you're going to
need it. Although expensive, it's a fantastic place to drink, watch the sunset, and
take in all that is special about Cartagena. A drink at Cafe del Mar is a must on
your visit to Cartagena.

Donde Fidel, El Portal de los Dulces. Right on the main route, this bar is a
popular spot for dancing and some serious drinking. There is a huge outdoor
section, which is perfect for people watching. Salsa music blaring makes this
spot a great place to throw back a few.

Tu Candela, El Portal de los Dulces, a very popular place with both locals and
foreigners. Nicely decorated with the feeling you're hanging out in a cave.
