90-DEGREE LEGS


This is a very healing position for the entire spine, especially the lower back. If you’re
suffering from lower back pain, this is a great place to find release, but it’s also
excellent after a long day at the office. Place a chair on your yoga mat and lie down
close to it. Bring your legs up to the seat of the chair. Bring your sit bones close
enough to the chair that the shins become parallel to the floor. Let your calves rest
comfortably on the chair and take the time you need to allow the lower back to fully
relax. You can stay here for quite some time, breathing space into your lower back for
as long as it feels good.
