Eggplant Harvest



  • Cut fruit from the plants with the cap (calyx)
    intact, leaving short piece of stem

  • Fruit are easily bruised; handle with care

  • Fruit highly susceptible to chilling injury
    (below 50°F)

  • Fruit deteriorate quickly at warm temperature

  • Store at 50- 54 °F/90% humidity for up to 10
    days
