Storing dried seeds
Have the participants divide into groups. Each group can choose the seeds to work with
for completing the following process:
- Final cleaning of the seeds to remove all foreign matter.
- Placing the clean dry seeds in storage containers.
- Adding natural insect repellents and natural moisture absorbers to the
containers. - Closing and labelling the containers, making sure to note the seed variety and
date of storage.

Discussion each groups’ activities
Have the class come back together and present or describe to the rest of the group the
processes that their group used for storing the dried seeds so that the group can learn
from each other’s experiences and give feedback and suggestions.
