Ideas for using all natural insecticides and fungicides

  • VERY IMPORTANT - Stop using at least 2 weeks before harvest. This will prevent
food from containing pesticides or fungicides that can also make people sick.

  • Change the types of sprays you use to stop the insects becoming resistant to
any one type of insecticide or fungicide.

  • Some insecticides and fungicides will work better than others, there are many
factors that influence this so experiment and study the results.

  • Only spray early in the morning or late in the afternoon to prevent burning the
    plants from the hot sun.

  • In the wet season try to spray at least 3 hours before the rain starts so that the
sprays have enough time to work properly.
