young leaves, twigs, and flowers are artfully used in the food industry for jams, candy, garnish for salad
decoration, and baked confections. Especially, angelica oil (some dry leaves and bark) is used as an
aromatic in the wine industry for many varieties of wine, vodka, and liquors. The flowering plant is
excellent for a good crop of honey, and for this purpose alone cultivation of Angelica archangelica is
encouraged.
