as essential for theoretical construction. Thus, local enthusiasm for this
economic activity is observed when they defend its importance in cultural,
social, political and economic perspectives, in addition to emphasizing
its contribution to cultural strengthening. Despite self-assertion as a
community that practices community-based tourism, they realized, in
the midst of the health crisis, the challenging horizon to conquer their
true autonomy as a social group dedicated to consolidating this practice,
starting to face the challenges in the direction recognition of the role of
its own people in the processes involving tourism.
