Recipes for Stages Two and Three
All recipes in Stage One may also be used in Stages Two and Three of the
Perfect 10 Diet. Some of the recipes in Stages Two and Three of the Perfect 10
Diet include whole grains or alcohol. If you have a history of alcohol abuse,
please do not use recipes containing alcohol. Also, if you’re having a hard time
losing weight, cut down on grains, and limit or avoid recipes containing alcohol.
Breakfast
Mediterranean Avocado Boats
SERVINGS: 4
PREPARATION TIME: 30 min.
INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon lime juice
2 ripe avocados, peeled and halved
½ teaspoon butter
5 medium eggs, beaten
2 green onions, minced
¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
4 olives, chopped
Pinch salt and freshly ground black pepper
DIRECTIONS
- Pour the lime juice on the avocado halves, and set aside.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over low heat.
- Mix together the eggs, onions, cilantro, and olives, and place in a large
skillet with the butter. - Cook for 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring often. Set aside.
- Place the cooked egg mixture in the avocado halves. Add salt and pepper.
