INGREDIENTS
3 eggs, beaten
1½ cups milk
½ cup agave, divided
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 strawberries cut into thin slices, for garnish
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 325°F.
- Combine eggs, milk ¼ cup agave, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.
Beat until well mixed but not foamy. - Mix remaining ¼ cup agave and cinnamon in small bowl.
- Place 4 (6-ounce) custard cups in an 8-inch square baking dish.
- Spoon 1 tablespoon of the agave-cinnamon mixture into each custard
cup, then top with the egg mixture, dividing equally among the custard
cups. - Place the baking dish on the middle rack of oven. Pour hot water into the
baking dish around the custard cups to 1-inch depth. - Bake at 325°F for 40 minutes or until knife inserted near the center
comes out clean. - Loosen the edges of the custard cups with a spatula or knife.
- Invert the custard onto dessert plates, and serve cold. Garnish with cut
strawberries.
