The Path Of Life, The Journey Of Living

(solaojo) #1
This piece of work is dedicated, first to God Almighty who has
provided the wisdom, knowledge and the unreserved
understanding to put this book together.

The work is equally dedicated to my devout and dedicated wife,
Mrs Funke Ojo; she is indeed a virtuous woman. She has been the
strong pillar behind me even in turbulent periods as you will find
out in this book. I salute her courage.

It is dedicated also to my lovely children, Oluwadamilola,
Oluwasola, Oluwakanyinsola, to my wonderful family at large
and to other wonderful people too numerous to mention.

I say God bless you all.

We promptly arranged for some items and then headed home on a
Saturday. Incidentally, my mum should have been hosting them the
following Sunday, if she was still in the village. So after church,
they all convoyed to our house, they prayed and then shared the
items. We got back to Lagos the same day at about 10pm.

For the final burial of my grandmother, my mother had to be there
on Wednesday while we joined her on Friday. After the burial,
mother stayed behind, but that decision happened to be our mistake
as she returned to the city with an attack.

When she returned, she only complained of tiredness and since my
sister is a nurse, I asked her to go to her for proper check-up. She
was tested okay, but on her way back home, she felt something hit
