I hadmanaged, in spiteof my handicaps, to complete my

undergraduateworkattheUniversityofTennesseewhereIreceived

abachelorsdegreeinPsychologyandSociology.Ihadaccomplished

thiswiththeaidofrecordedtextbooksandthehelpoffriendswho

wouldreadmyassignmentstomealoud.Inthissamemanner,Ihad

been able to complete a yearofgraduate work in experimental

psychologyatEmoryUniversityinAtlanta.Idecidedtoreturnto

school to worktoward my Ph.D. in Educational Psychology at

GeorgiaStateUniversityinAtlanta.IalsodecidedthatIwouldteach

ParapsychologyatGeorgiaStateUniversity.The factthatsucha

course had never been taught at this university or at any other

universitydidnotdiscouragemeatthispoint.Ifeltthatifmetaphys-

icalhealingcouldbeusedtosuchanextentastobringaboutthecures

ithadworkedforme,thatitcouldalsobeusedtohealanysituationin

mylife.Ibegantousethesesamesecretsthathadbroughtaboutmy

healingtowardthegoalofteachingclassesatGeorgiaStateUniver-

sityandmakingthesesame secretsavailabletomystudents.

ItelephonedtheUniversityandexplainedtoasecretaryexactly

what I wantedto do. The secretary politely took myname and

telephone numberand said that ifanyone atthe Universitywas

interested,shewouldcontactmeatalaterdate.Onemonthwentby

andIhadnotheardawordfromtheUniversity.Then,onemorning

mytelephonerangandIwasaskedbytheDirectorofSpecialStudies

atGeorgiaStateUniversityifIwouldstillliketoteachaclassin

Parapsychology.IwastospeaktohimthatveryafternoonandsinceI

hadenoughconfidenceinthesecretsofmetaphysicalhealing,Ihad

alreadypreparedthecurriculumforsuchacourse.Duringourmeet-

ing,Iexplainedtothisgentlemanmyideasforteachingthecourse

andpresentedhimwithacopyofthecurriculumIhadoutlined.My

educationalqualificationswerecheckedandIwasofferedtheposi-

tion ofInstructorofParapsychology atGeorgiaState University

SchoolofSpecial Studies inAtlanta, Georgia. My classes have

drawnonanaverageof 250 studentsperquarter.

IrealizedthatifIweretomakethesecretsofenergizedmind

availabletothenumberofpeoplewhocouldbenefitfromthem,it

wasnecessaryformetoreceivetheaidofradio,television,newspa-

pers, andmagazines. Withthis goalinmind, Ibegan to usethe
