profit ngos based in the americas, which
promotes public awareness of international

environmental organisations campaigning on
ecological and social justice issues, including
climate change, forests, energy and genetic
modification. popular with the greenie set, foe
has a reputation in australia as a caring and
practical environmental alliance. foe doesn’t
have a formal volunteer programme, but
encourages people to liaise with Cameron
walker at the Collingwood branch to discuss
options before contacting the foe group in
the country they are interested in volunteering
in. many of the international offices are
under-resourced and may not have english
