South of Vallecito and Hwy 49, there’s
a very short but memorable hike
called Natural Bridges. The area has
been a magnet for gold explorers and
locals since the 1850s and it features
two prominent caves where Coyote
Creek flows through. In summertime,
you can swim right through the
upper cave – amazing! Look for the
signed turnoff about 3 miles south of
Moaning Cavern on Parrots Ferry Rd.
