capitals, I know, but I feel that strongly about this.
Most children between eighteen and twenty-four months begin to
show an interest in the toilet. Often this has more to do with the
toilet itself, the bathroom, and the spinning toilet paper than it does
with a bodily function. It’s also an interest in mimicking Mom and
Dad. This interest doesn’t necessarily signal any readiness to potty
train; I always look for other markers. This brings us the next big
issue in potty training.
