Allah declared:I has
“O you who believe!Approach not prayers
... in a state of cere-monial impurity, until
after washing yourwhole body. If you
are ill, or on a jour-ney, or one of you
comes from offices ofnature, or you have
been in contact withwomen, and you find
no water, then takefor yourselves clean
sand or earth, andrub therewith your
faces and hands.”
“Allah intends tomake things easy for
you. He does notintend to make things
difficult for you.”
Our beloved ProphetHadith
Muhammad esaid:
“The most importantthing in Tayammum
is to strike the handon (clean) earth,
once for the face andagain for both the
hands upto theelbows.”

form wudu’, Allah permits us to
perform Tayammum.
