CHAPTER 3 DATA COLLECTION
In this chapter, all collected data will be presented and discussed in detail. These data
include meteorological data, soil investigation tests, statistical data of population, and
passengers' volume. Collected data were obtained from several Palestinian ministries, and
official agencies in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the Israeli occupation websites. Besides, all
data related to the study area were obtained from websites like GeoMolg, the Palestinian's
Road and Transportation Master Plan, as well as Google Maps.
3.1 Meteorological data
Table 3- 1 shows the mean monthly values of temperature, wind speed, humidity,
evaporation, rainfall, and sunshine duration for Jericho station through 2 012 - 2020, as
obtained from the Palestinian Meteorology Department.
