5.2.8 Social Assessment
The social impact is represented and influenced by all the previous factors; it is one of the
most important factors that must be taken into consideration while selecting the appropriate
location for the Palestinian airport.
As a result of the airport’s remoteness from residential areas and that the ownership of the
proposed site by the Palestinian State, this will minimize the airport’s social impact,
avoiding any societal problems and clashes with the local community.
Moreover, as illustrated in Figure 5- 15 , the airport will have no bad effects on the
community of Al-Auja or the nearby touristic areas.
