Forecasting Foreign Passengers in Palestine:

The analysis of foreign passengers will be composed of tourists arriving in Palestine
obtained from the Palestinian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, and the number of
Muslim pilgrims who would visit Al-Quds after Al-Haj from the General Authority for
Statistics in Saudi Arabia. Although, the percentage of air demand for foreigner passengers
during the peak month will be obtained from the Israeli occupation statistics as it would be
representative of foreigner air demand in Palestine; giving that the tourists and Pilgrims
will be visiting the same area of the world for the same reason.

- Percentage of tourist arrivals by air:

The following statistics were obtained from the tourism data of the Israeli occupation
through 2014-2019, as obtained from the website of the Palestinian Central Bureau of
Statistics / Statistical Report (2019).

• This percentage will be used to determine the percentage of tourists who will use Al-
