Where:


MI = mix index


C = percentage of aircraft weighing more than 12,500 lb but less than 300,000 lb on the
runway.


D = percentage of aircraft with a maximum gross weight of 300,000 lb or greater in the
mix of aircraft using the runway.


In reviewing the aviation activity for the following airports. It was concluded that the fleet
mix percentage of Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) operations for international airports is 81 -
120 as shown in the table below.

CGH: Congonhas-São Paulo Airport (Brazil).


VCP: Viracopos International Airport (Brazil).


CGH Airport is an exception because it is a regional airport and not an international
