For stair widths greater than 1 m, the going is measured at 270 mm

from each side of the stair.

Additional requirements:

Going of tapered treads not less than the going of parallel treads

in the same stair.

Curved landing lengths measured on the stair centre line.

Twice the rise plus the going, 550 to 700 mm.

Uniform going for consecutive tapered treads.
