BOXING CLEVER

Include details of where each piece was purchased and when,
cost, what it's made of and what the stones and their sizes are.
Take photographs and store them separately from your
jewellery. All things are helpful in either recovering, replacing or
just proving you owned it in the rst place. If you have expensive
items then you could consider having them valued for insurance
purposes.

Storing pearls

Pearls should be stored in a soft fabric lined box, not touching
any other jewellery. Avoid exposure to chemicals, knocks,
sunlight and extremes of temperature. Never use plastic
containers for pearls as they will dry out and crack.
