2 - 5 minutesto plan. During this time, you canconsiderwhat
position youwilladopt, how you'regoingtoexpand onthetopicandinwhat
order you will present your ideas.Youshouldskiptheplanningactivity
onlyifyou haveverylittletimeleft.Insuchacase, you can work directly
on the taskitself.

Ofcourse, grammarand vocabularywillalso be assessed. Make sure
you check your writing forverb tense agreement,prepositions,word
order,sentencepatterns, sentence structure, and range of
vocabulary. Avoid using the same verbs, nouns, or adjectives
more than once.Do not use slang at all. In theacademicsection
oftheIELTS,avoidcontractions,whichareaclearsymbolofinformal
writing.
