cools over the next hour or so.
- To Store: Spoon the mix into the jar. Label with contents and date and
seal tightly. To preserve the freshness of this natural scrub, do not get
water into the jar. Store this scrub in a sealed jar in a cool dark place, out
of direct sunlight. Use up within 6 months to a year. - To Use: Use in place of a soap or body wash in your shower or bath.
This is a thicker scrub due to the shea butter and may need to be softened
or emulsified with a little water in your palm to make a spreadable scrub.
Apply to your skin in small, upward, circular motions. Massage the scrub
in small circular motions, starting with the legs and arms, making your
way up to the torso, ending at your heart. Rinse well.
HELPFUL HINTS
You can substitute one of the infused oils from Chapter 7 for the
sweet almond oil for added scent and therapeutic benefits.
