  1. To Make: Mix the sweet almond oil and baking soda together in a large
bowl. It will be a dry mixture. Add the oats and stir. Add the chamomile
and lavender and blend to a uniform consistency.

  2. To Store: Label and store in a tight-sealing jar for up to 6 months.

  3. To Use: Loosely fill the cloth bag with the Chamomile and Oat Super
Soothe-Me Bath, making a sachet. Tie a bow tight enough that it won’t
come apart in use. Remember, you will need to untie it later to clean it
    out and use it again.
Fill the tub with warm water and drop in the sachet. Do not use the
sachet to rub irritated skin, but gently squeeze the liquid from the sachet
over your body and relax. Dry off with care, using gentle blotting actions
with a soft towel over the itchy or sore parts of your skin. Repeat as
needed. Oatmeal baths are gentle and can be enjoyed every day.

SKINCARE SECRETS

You can also use this Chamomile and Oat Super Soothe-Me Bath to
make bath sachets for party favors or gifts. Put about ⁄ cup of the
mixture in the center of a piece of cloth and close tightly with a
rubber band or piece of string. Tie a ribbon around it to make it
pretty. You can use small cloth bags for the sachets. Package into
individual cello bags, and tie closed to retain freshness. Add a label
“Soothing Bath Sachet” with instructions for use and a “use by” date.
