Interviewing BTS at K-Con in LA, 2014.Eventually we got to meet BTS. I couldn’t believe it! BTS was a boy
band of seven extraordinarily talented members, Jin, Suga, J-Hope,
RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. They were all really friendly and kind and
all of their songs were just as good as ‘Happy Birthday’, maybe even
better! The interview ended up going really well, I kept my cool and
really enjoyed it. The boys were as friendly and talented as you’d
expect and I was relieved we’d decided not to dance in front of them.
In hindsight, Ollie definitely should have filmed the whole thing, but
some reason he just got a bunch of random unusable footage from
backstage. In any case, it went so well I felt like I might be okay doing
more interviews in the future. Perhaps we could make celebrity
interviews an unlikely centrepiece of our future YouTube work? BTS
were one of the groups performing in the concert later in the evening
and we were so pumped to go. Their performance was mind blowing.
Fortunately, I had put my neck brace back on.
