MACAÉ
Situa-se em Macaé o Parque Natural Municipal da Restinga do Barreto com 31,7 hectares de área, em região exclu-
sivamente de restinga. As terras do parque urbano foram cedidas pelo INCRA em 2016, após luta incansável do atual
coordenador do parque, Henrique Abrahão que conta com a colaboração efetiva da bióloga Érica Steagll. A Unidade de
Conservação Municipal situa-se na extremidade meridional da restinga de Jurubatiba, próxima ao Parque Nacional que
se identifica com o nome da restinga.
Barreto Restinga Municipal Natural Park is located in Macaé with 31.7 hectares extension, in an entirely region of restinga. The lands of the urban
park were donated by INCRA in 2016, after the relentless struggle of the current coordinator of the Park, Henrique Abrahão who has the effective
collaboration of the biologist Érica Steagll. The Municipal Conservation Unit is located at the southern end of the Jurubatiba restinga, near the Ju-
rubatiba Restinga National Park.
