“No! Ahhhhhhhhhhh. No, No, No!” I scream. I wokeup and there I was. On
the news. They all stare at me in silence. I haveno words. There is a picture of
me on the news saying: wanted for murder. Dad looksat me, I look at Mom, Mom
looks at Key, and Key looks at me. “I told you itwas your turn, I told you dont
leave me,” The voices say. The dog barks, and Keyjumps into mom’s arms. “You
guys hear those voices?” They look terrified. “Vail,please leave us alone. They
don’t need to be a part of this.” I say trying toget them to leave. A deeper voice
says, “ It is I. Yep Lylot.” They all turn to me.I hope they can't see them. “That fire
was my fault, I know. But I was only able to saveone of your lives. I couldn’t live
with myself if I had let my little sister die.” Itry to reason with them. But they didn’t
seem to care. They started circling us. I go intoshock, and see a fire starting in
our house. I snap out of it quickly. “Guys get inthe car!” We all ran toward the
door. Only I stop. I see Lylot. He is becoming angry.Vail starts toward the kitchen
stove. Lylot distracts me by saying, “I missed you.Why haven’t you thought of
me?” I hear a tick in the kitchen. I ran over to her.By the time I got there my
family came back in and Vail had started the fire.My premonition was right. I
honestly don’t know how to get out of this one. Then,I hear this soft voice say,
“Just apologize, it will be good for you and them.”“Guys, I'm sorry,” I say thinking
I've accomplished something. But they just look angier.“Would you guys, maybe,
want to come stay with us?” I ask seriously. Dad says,“Who, and where?” The
one time he talks. “Dad, they won’t stop hauntingme until they get what they
want. So guys?” Lylot and Vail look as if I askedfor some money. I'm not usually
this talkative or nice for that matter, so they probablythink it's a trick. “You could
go to school with me, we can go out and do thingson the weekends, and we can
even visit back home, livennwot.” They look at eachother and exchange looks. In
unison they say, “ We’d love to.
