TASK: A quick and easy way to compare your product or service with similar ones on the market is to make a competition

grid for example with Excel. Down the left side of a piece of paper, write the names of four or five products or services that compete
with yours. To help you generate this list, think of what your customers would buy if they didn't buy your product or service.

List the main features and characteristics of each product or service. Include such things as target market, price, size, method of
distribution and extent of customer service for a product. For a service, list prospective buyers, where the service is available, price,
website, toll-free phone number and other features that are relevant. A glance at the competition grid will help you see where your
product fits in the overall market.

MARKETING PLAN

Marketing means planning sales, assessing different sales channels, carrying out market research, and many other things. Very rarely products
or services “sell themselves” so marketing is necessary. Therefore, the main goal of marketing is to make the company profitable and successful.

Marketing Plan
The marketing plan is a practical tool that can be used by company. The plan is used to ensure that the marketing is targeted correctly and the
measures are effective. The plan does not have to be complex or long, but it should include information about the marketing schedule, the areas
of responsibility, the market and the competitors, the measures and their targets, the development and coordination.

  1. Who to sell to?
Who are your customers, what type of things do they appreciate? Where and how can we find potential customers?

  2. Where is the product marketed?
What options are there to market the product or service and which of them are the best suited for this company?
Should you create a website? How about social media marketing, for example through Facebook? Do you need posters and leaflets?

  3. Where to sell?
Do you need a fixed commercial space, or should you sell the products online or in a pop-up store? Will you participate in expos or other events?
It is recommended to use your networks when looking for places to sell!

  4. Sales
Who are in charge of the sales? Each member of the team should practice pitching both the company and its products and services. You should
always explain to the customers why they should purchase the products/services of your company.
