Seeds may germinate

without pretreatment.
Collect fruits as soon as

ripened to avoid birdremoval. Macerate toremove pulp and do notallow to dry.
Seeds sown after collecting

in July will germinatenaturally the secondspring. Seeds that areallowed to dry afterharvest will take longer togerminate or need longerpretreatment times thanfresh seed.
