LEARN COMMUNICATION.

Day 8: Practce Saying “Thank You”

  • “Thank you” is one of the most important phrases in our language. Human

relatonships are built on shared interests and good communicaton but also on

mutual acts of service. For example, close friendships are based on an
agreement (usually lef unspoken) that each friend will listen to the other in

tmes of need. Today, you are going to think about how ofen you give thanks to

those who ofer help. Even self-made men and women need a helping hand or
two on their way to success.

  • No one likes whiny, ungrateful individuals who refuse to acknowledge their

good fortune. There are few things more annoying than someone who has so

many reasons to be thankful but complains all the tme. Even more unpopular

are those who receive help from others but rarely bother to acknowledge it. It
doesn’t mater how much status you have, or even how famous you are – you

are never “too good” to stop and give thanks to everyone who helps you out. It’s

an easy way to develop a reputaton as a happy, positve individual that everyone
wants to be around.
