foundinstoolsamples(Fig.9. 11 h):thisintestinalinhabitantisconsidered
afungusoraprotozoon;someauthorsascribeitacertainsignificanceas
causativeagentofdiarrhea.Itisimportanttorememberthatanumberof
drugsreducetheexcretionofintestinalprotozoa.
