The Caledonia Library
Craft and Vendor Shows
called for a dramatic change
from previous year’s craft
and vendor shows.
After cancelling the
spring and holiday shows in
2020, and this year’s spring
show, normally in April, it
became clear to organizers
that an outdoor show would
be more feasible and a safer
way to go at this time.
The Caledonia Library
Summer Outdoor Craft and
Vendor Show, presented by
the Caledonia Friends of the
Library will be 9:30 a.m. to 3
p.m. Saturday, July 17, in the
parking lot of JourneyChurch, located next to the
library at 9185 Cherry Valley
Ave, Caledonia, rain or shine.
The show will feature
more than 30 vendors.
Shoppers will discover tents
filled with arts and crafts, as
direct-sales consultants.
Woodcrafters, jewelry,
Norwex, baby items,
photography, Color Street,
unique garden items, quilts,
clothing, embroidered items,
bird feeders, assorted bags
and purses, Christmas items,
crocheted and knitted
accessories, light-up bottles,
hair accessories, Top Home
Improvements, tumblers and
mugs, soaps, lotions, lip
balms, Posh skin products,
resin art and so much more.
In addition, Vault Cafe
and Bakery also will be on
location with their pastries
and luncheon specialties.
The Caledonia Library
Summer Craft and Vendor
Show not only offers a
chance to support the local
library, it can be a family fun
day. Guests can explore the
paved wooded trail as well as
the Caledonia Community
Park, all within walking
distance of the craft and
vendor show. The trail is
great for walking, biking and
rollerblading. Library-card
holders may rent bicycles
from the library.
The Caledonia
Community Green Park, in
front of the library, offers
outdoor seating for enjoying
lunch, a pickleball court, dog
park and restrooms.
The Caledonia Farmers
Market also will be in the
parking lot of Caledonia
Christian Reformed Church
at the corner of M-37 and
100th Street, from 9 a.m. to 1

Several state parks in
southern Michigan are host-
ing volunteer stewardship
workdays in July. Volunteers
are needed to help with
removing invasive plants
that threaten high-quality
ecosystems in the parks.
Locally, volunteers aresought to help remove spot-
ted knapweed from the
Yankee Springs Recreation
Area 1-3 p.m. Sunday, July- Volunteers can enjoy a
walk along the North
Country Trail and spend a
couple of hours working
together to help protect a
unique upland prairie.
